White Cliffs Country

In June the group went on a day-long coach trip to Sandwich and Broadstairs. It gave group members who do not have access to private transport of who have to work during the week and opportunity to visit the ‘White Cliffs’ part of Kent.

Two members enjoy lunch at Salutation House, Sandwich. Sandwich (top):  on the right is the bridge over the river Stour at Sandwich.

This is the beach at Broadstairs. On the far left is Bleak House, which appears in the famous novel by Charles Dickens.
